A successfull story - From 1970 on the women's skin

Intima Moda was founded in Modena in 1972 as a family company; it was just a small laboratory producing and selling underwear. Nowadays Intima Moda, in order to consolidate the Company leading position on the market, is a reality where the family tradition and a highly modern managerial organization coexist.

Intima Moda is present on the Italian and international markets with the SièLei brand for the wholesale channel and Verdissima brand for the medium-high retail distribution channel.

Creating underwear and beachwear for over 4 decades does not only mean understanding the market changes but, mostly, all women's desires. A constant challenge that requires the deep knowledge of a universe in continuous evolution.


The development of SieLei spines

It is the year 1972 when the Franciosi brothers start their adventure together with seven employees who cut and stitch corsetry and bras for the wholesale market. An adventure that becomes reality with the birth of the brands: Falck, Prima Visione, Rose Rosse, Stella and Valentina. In 1976 Falck becomes the company’s

In 2001, SièLei is born and contains the entire philosophy of the corporate brands. At first the brand is used only for the basic underwear collection, the collections that are offered all year round having particular characteristics pertaining to wearability, comfort and attention to needs.

The brand SièLei grows: the first beachwear and swimwear collections are born in summer 2005 together with the coverups and caftans completing the summer total look. Guaranteed success satisfying the buyers’ tastes year after year, paying attention also to the needs of "curvy" women with ad hoc collections with attention paid to the smallest details and to wearability.

Over the years, the image of SièLei has been represented by beautiful testimonials among which Randi Ingerman, Aida Yespica, Miriana Trevisan, Raffaella Fico, Elisabetta Gregoraci who have worn the underwear, lingerie and beachwear collections.
SièLei is the official sponsor of the 2011 Miss Italia edition. The SièLei bikinis are worn by the finalists during the event’s conclusive shows won by Maria Ludovica Perissinotto, Miss Elegance SièLei 2011.
